BremnerDuke Healthcare Real Estate has developed a new two-story, 45,136-square-foot outpatient facility on Cincinnati’s growing West Side. It will be known as Good Samaritan Medical Center Western Ridge. As the name implies, the facility is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, part of the TriHealth healthcare system. Construction of the medical center began in July 2009.
The first floor will house a freestanding Emergency Department—a 24-hour, full-service, 16-bed facility complete with a helipad. It will also offer 24-hour lab services and comprehensive imaging, including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, dexa scan, and shelled space for a future MRI. The second floor will house a mix of office-based physician practices, including both primary care and specialists.
The outpatient center is just the first step in the planned five-building, 34-acre Western Ridge development. Plans call for the future addition of two more two-story medical office buildings totaling 123,975 square feet and two additional freestanding buildings totaling 40,957. Good Samaritan plans to retain one of the MOB sites for future growth while the other lots will be sold for complementary development.
