The Los Angeles office of HOK, a global architecture design firm, has partnered with March Healthcare Development to create, develop, and execute the master plan for the March LifeCare Campus, which will be a center for medical treatment and research in Southern Calirofnia.
Yesterday, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger participated in a demolition ceremony to mark the start of major construction on the March LifeCare project, a 6 million-square-foot, 236-acre health and wellness city built from the ground up on surplus land of the former March Air Force Base.
This project will include a hospital, medical office buildings, retail, skilled nursing facilities, a continuing care community, wellness centers, healing gardens, spiritual healing facilities, and ambulatory care facilities.
