Jones Lang LaSalle has completed the $191 million development of Northeast Georgia Health System’s North Patient Tower in Gainesville, Georgia. The firm conducted the initial campus master facility planning and provided comprehensive project management services for the new, six-story, 454,000-square-foot facility, as well as a two-level central energy plant and 738-space visitor parking deck.
The patient tower was accomplished on schedule and under budget and includes 32 new intensive care beds; 96 new private surgical beds; 23 new operating rooms; and the relocation of radiology, endoscopy, sterile processing, presurgical testing, and registration services. Master planning activities began in 2003 culminating in the opening of the North Patient Tower to the public in April 2009.
The project was designed by HKS Inc., and Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, was the general contractor for the project.
