We here in the offices of Healthcare Building Ideas (HBI) and sister publication HEALTHCARE DESIGN (HCD) always value the opportunities we have to travel to conferences and trade shows, as well as to visit firms and tour facilities, to get a little bit closer to those industry professionals we cover and provide information for on a daily basis.

However, there’s another resource that helps us better understand what each of you are working through and working toward. And that’s our annual HEALTHCARE DESIGN and Healthcare Building Ideas Corporate Profiles and Rankings supplement.

In order to compile the rankings side of this project, we just launched a survey that covers 2011 healthcare business, including project types, sizes, and completions; total billings and RFPs; and the number and value of contracts.

The results are often enlightening and help not only gauge how the market is faring, but where projects are heading (for example, will renovations continue to be on the upward trend as new construction remains limited?).

I hope you’ll all take part, and share with us and your fellow readers what business your company saw in 2011.

Rankings of the Top Architecture/Engineering and Construction companies, as well as an analysis of the results, will be published in the Summer 2012 issue of HBI and the July issue of HCD, with added coverage of submissions online.

To fill out the survey, just click here. The deadline is April 27.
