Clarinda Regional Health Center is a unique Critical Access Hospital servicing approximately 15,000 residents in the southwest Iowa region. CRHC was designed around a vision of delivering a welcoming, anxiety-lessening environment for patients seeking state-of-the-art quality healthcare. It is one of a few CAHs that host an air ambulance with heated helipad and ER pathway. Patient comfort, large surgery suites, paperless medical records and directional clarity with a more hospitality feel were high priorities in the design of the facility. Centralized check-in serving the hospital and clinic are within steps of entering the lobby. Greeting patients as they enter the lobby are warm hues and nature inspired finishes. CRHC is an example of how ACI/Boland designs healthcare facilities with patient comfort, efficient workflow and technology and growth as key contributors to successful healthcare delivery.
