It’s that time of year again. Winter is beginning to wind down (or at least we’re telling ourselves that here in chilly Cleveland), the short month of February is whisking by, and the ASHE Planning, Design, and Construction Summit is right around the corner—the first big industry event of the year.

I’ll be hitting the road (or skies, as it were) and, hopefully, seeing several of you in Phoenix for the conference set to kick off on March 4.

I’m already studying the PDC schedule to plan my way through the educational sessions and events. But before I solidify anything, I’d love to hear from all of you. If you’re attending the conference, what sessions are drawing your interest? If you’re not able to make it, what kind of coverage would you like to see from Healthcare Building Ideas?

I’m happy to see topics on tap ranging from healthcare systems engineering to bridging the gap between construction and facility management to improving hospital IT infrastructure, not to mention updates and guidance on a variety of FGI Guidelines changes. As you do your jobs every day, what information and education is most valuable to you?

As always, you can expect me to be blogging from the show to keep readers up to speed on all the news and stories of the week. Also, be sure to follow us on Twitter—@HBIMagazine and @HBI_JKSilvis—for real time updates as they happen.
