Automatic door operation



The Detex EasyKit specifies everything needed for a healthcare facility with only one price and no problems. Illustrated here, AODx10ERx1S-1, Automatically Operated Door EasyKit, integrates Advantex latch retraction exit device and a low-energy, automatic door operator, prewired with a built-in latch retraction power supply. Also included are two wireless ADA buttons, power transfer, code-compliant signage, and a wiring diagram, providing easy, mistake-free installation. The EasyKit is for use in assisted living, hospitals, medical clinics, and applications requiring access control with low-energy, automatic operation.

Bariatric water closet



The Zurn 1,000-pound bariatric wall hung water closet and carrier system are specifically designed for a hospital environment for use in the bariatric units. A complete system, including a Z1203-XB carrier and Z5690 bariatric toilet, will withstand loadings of up to 1,000 pounds. The bariatric toilet is provided with an open front, elongated, antimicrobial polypropylene seat for enhanced patient comfort. The unit is fabricated from type 304 stainless steel and is available with an antimicrobial powder coating. The fixture is manufactured in accordance with ANSI A112.19.12 standards.

Photoluminescent stair nosing



Wooster Products has developed a photoluminscent (glow-in-the-dark) stair nosing model 333-NG, to help prevent falls when going down steps during low- or no-light situations. These easy-to-install, made-to-length nosings will fit onto any existing steps. The product is compliant with NYC and IBC building codes.
