Art glass pendants

A new series of textured and patterned “art glass” pendants has been released by Nora Lighting for use in residential, hospitality, and commercial installations. Inspired by images in nature, the series features an extensive selection of luminous designs from European and American glassworks. With unique model names, such as Tsunami, Rain Fall, and Agua, the new Nora series offers creative styling and versatile applications. The pendants can be canopy-, rail-, or track-mounted and are available in energy-saving compact fluorescent (13W to 26W with GU24 socket); low voltage (JC 6.35 [50W]); and line voltage (candelabra base [60W], medium base [100W] and G9 base [40W]).

Ceramic floor tiles

Metropolitan Ceramics® offers a ceramic tile with a preconsumer recycled content of over 60%. ENVIROQUARRY® is 1/2 thick and is available in three standard sizes. ENVIROQUARRY tiles are hard fired, making them durable enough for the most demanding/heavy traffic installations and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use in any climate.

Air purifier

The PureAir Blaster by Mintie, Inc., is durable, lightweight, and compact. It operates with HEPA or new Geo95 filters for more economical protection of patient-occupied and unoccupied areas. Variable speed 200-600 CFM units can be stacked three high and up to five can be daisy chained together using the built-in convenience outlets. The impact-resistant housing is also flame retardant and does not support bacterial growth. With multiple filter options and scalability the PureAir Blaster makes it easy to handle any project.

Carbon monoxide detector

The new CO1224T carbon monoxide detector from System Sensor provides a simple, inexpensive test that verifies the carbon monoxide cell's functionality when using canned carbon monoxide. Featuring RealTest technology, simply press the test button to check the detector's circuitry. If needed, spray carbon monoxide into the detector's sensor-the detector will go into alarm, indicating a functional unit.

Bariatric water closet

The Zurn 1,000-pound bariatric wall hung water closet and carrier system are specifically designed for a hospital environment for use in the bariatric units. A complete system, including a Z1203-XB carrier and Z5690 bariatric toilet, will withstand loadings of up to 1,000 pounds. The bariatric toilet is provided with an open front, elongated, antimicrobial polypropylene seat for enhanced patient comfort. The unit is fabricated from type 304 stainless steel and is available with an antimicrobial powder coating. The fixture is manufactured in accordance with ANSI A112.19.12 standards.

Photoluminescent stair nosing

Wooster Products has developed a photoluminscent (glow-in-the-dark) stair nosing model 333-NG, to help prevent falls when going down steps during low- or no-light situations.
