Two Richmond, Va., regional healthcare organizations, OrthoVirginia and HCA Virginia, along with Richmond.-based developer Lingerfelt Cos., opened the region's new $25 million, two-story, 70,000-square-foot medical facility specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine treatment and rehabilitation.
The facility brings together orthopedic specialists in hand, knee, hip, spine, and pediatrics, as well as sports medicine and outpatient surgery, to provide a regional resource for focused orthopedic diagnostics, repair, and rehabilitation.
With a growing demand for services, critical to selecting this location were accessibility and proximity to the major healthcare facility of HCA Virginia's Chippenham Hospital. The campus is large enough to accommodate patient-friendly parking and an outdoor sports assessment field.
The new facility is minutes from downtown Richmond and I-95, making the location accessible statewide.
The development recently received a LEED-certified building designation.
