The Center for Health Design Names VP, Director of Research

Anjali Joseph, PhD, EDAC was promoted to vice president, director of research at The Center for Health Design (CHD).

As a trained architect and CHD’s top research professional, Joseph speaks at events worldwide and works one-on-one with CHD’s Pebble Project Partners, increasing awareness of using and conducting evidence-based design research as a part of the healthcare facility design process.

Her areas of expertise include qualitative and quantitative research methods and research applications in design. In her new role, Joseph will help define strategic growth opportunities while continuing to write and submit proposals to foundations and manufacturers for funding, submit articles for publication in academic journals and magazines, and direct and collaborate on CHD research projects.

Anjali obtained her PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology, masters degree from Kansas State University, and bachelor’s degree from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India.
