The new Addison Health Center for Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare designed by Pratt Design Studio is complete.
Located in Addison, Illinois, this new medical office building (MOB) will provide the community with key service lines that include an immediate care center, a women's center, and diagnostic imaging services.
The facility features a 1.5 T MRI, CT scanner room, general radiology rooms, ultrasound, dexa scan, and mammography spaces. The 55,000-square-foot, three-story MOB will also provide on-site laboratory services and a conference and resource center dedicated to the educational needs of the community.
Physician offices as well as specialized clinics such as ENT, OB GYN, pediatrics, podiatry, and family practice will be located on upper floors. Based on the client's Planetree philosophy of care, the interior design features warm, welcoming, and soothing materials and finishes with private changing rooms in the women's center and waiting areas located strategically to take advantage of natural light and views.
The Prairie-style building exterior integrates the unique identifier developed for this client, also used at its main hospital campus, with the goal to provide a consistent and memorable experience for the patients, staff, and visitors at this off-campus facility.
