Group One Partners Announces New Personnel

Group One Partners, Inc., a design firm offering architectural, interior design, and purchasing services, has announced the expansion of its design team with the hiring of Joseph Mello as an architectural project manager and Christine Shanahan as senior interior designer.

Joseph Mello comes to Group One with 23 years of experience that includes retail, mixed-use, and multifamily architectural projects. During those 23 years, Mello was employed as project manager at Bradford Saivetz & Associates, which later merged with Cubellis. At Group One Partners, his responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the budgeting, scheduling, coordination, and production of construction documents. With his extensive experience, Mello will assist in the management and growth of the firm while providing senior-level guidance to other staff members.

Before joining the team at Group One, Christine Shanahan was a project manager at Add Inc and J/Brice working on hospitality accounts in the United States and Middle East. Before her tenure at J/Brice, she was project manager in the design department at Princeton Properties building and renovating multifamily properties, hotels, and corporate office buildings. In her new role as senior interior designer at Group One Partners, Shanahan is currently involved in multiple hospitality projects in greater Boston and nationwide. She is NCIDQ certified, president of the NEWH New England Affiliate Chapter, actively involved in ASID, and an adjunct faculty member at Mount Ida College.
