Meridian Design Build has completed the renovation and expansion of a 14,626-square-foot medical office facility for Barrington Orthopedic Specialists in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
The project, completed on a fast-track basis in just 64 working days, involved the full renovation of an existing single story office building to repurpose it for medical use. The completed project includes a physical therapy gym, exam rooms, cast rooms, imaging areas, and full service rehabilitation facilities. An addition was also constructed to accommodate reception/waiting areas and a covered patient drop-off canopy.
Bob Kolcz, Project Manager, and Fred Jennings, General Superintendent, coordinated the project for Meridian Design Build. Areté-Knight provided comprehensive design services including architectural, structural, MEP/FP, and interior design.
