Froedtert Hospital and The Medical College of Wisconsin, located in the western suburbs of Milwaukee, have opened the Moorland Reserve Health Center in New Berlin, Wis.
The three-story, 135,000 square-foot multispecialty medical office building (MOB) is located on a 48-acre campus adjacent to a pediatric clinic and offers primary care, diagnostic services, urgent care, medical oncology, cardiology, surgical specialties, behavioral health, physical/occupational/speech therapy, and other clinical services.
The MOB features decentralized work pods for the care team while consultative spaces and offices for nurse navigators are distributed throughout the clinical plan to support patient education.
The project started in March 2012 and was completed in October. The project team includes HGA Architects and Engineers (Milwaukee, Design Architect/Architect of Record), Ring & DuChateau (Milwaukee, MEP firm), JM Brennan (Milwaukee, Engineer of Record), Staff Electric (Menomonee Falls, Wis., Electrical Engineering), Pierce Engineers, Inc. (Milwaukee, Structural Engineering), The Sigma Development (Civil Engineer), and CG Schmidt (Milwaukee, Construction Manager).
