Moss & Associates announced that veteran Tampa construction executive Neil L. Hammack has joined the company to lead its expansion in the healthcare market.
As vice-president of healthcare, Hammack will be based in Tampa, with statewide responsibilities. He will focus on healthcare facilities such as hospitals, medical offices, and LTC institutions, as well as life science laboratories, and will oversee Moss’ other Tampa Bay commercial operations.
He joins Harris and other members of Moss’ executive team who have been responsible for constructing facilities for many of the state’s leading healthcare systems.
A senior building industry professional, Hammack has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Most recently, he helped establish a Florida-based healthcare construction division for one of the nation’s largest construction management companies, growing its operations several hundred million dollars in projects.
His accomplishments include major expansion and renovation projects for academic medical centers, leading hospitals, and healthcare systems throughout Florida. Hammack earned a bachelor of building construction degree from the University of Florida, and has completed several leadership, safety, and business development programs.
Moss & Associates is a privately held construction company that is ranked among the nation’s top 100 building contractors and fourth largest in the State of Florida, with annual revenues exceeding $649 million in fiscal year 2007.
