Construction Wraps Up On Three New Ambulatory Surgical Centers In Kansas, Winsconsin
Kadean Construction (St. Louis) has completed three ambulatory surgical centers (ASC) in Kansas and Wisconsin, and is starting construction on two more centers in Michigan and Indiana. The five centers are being built for SurgCenter Development (Towson, Md.), a corporation that partners with local surgeons to create physician-owned and operated ASCs.
The Overland Park Surgical Suites in Overland Park, Kan., is nearly 7,500 square feet and located in a multi-tenant building. The Milwaukee Surgical Suites is in a single-user building totaling nearly 7,400 square feet and the Pleasant Prairie facility, called the North Shore Surgical Suites, is about 7,100 square feet.
The two newest centers being constructed are in Zeeland, Mich., and Munster, Ind.. Both will be in the 7,000 - 7,500 square feet range.
