Partners Urgent Care recently announced the opening of its newest center located in Boston near Boston Common. This is the sixth Partners Urgent Care location joining centers opened earlier this year in Cambridge at Central Square and the town of Canton, in addition to previously opened locations in Brookline, Newton and Watertown. Four additional centers are scheduled to open this fall in Medford, Cambridge at Porter Square, Burlington and Woburn.

Partners Urgent Care is a collaboration between Partners HealthCare, an integrated healthcare system founded by Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and MedSpring Urgent Care. The centers are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, including weekends and holidays, and offer treatment for a range of illnesses and injuries from coughs and colds to cuts and broken bones. All of the new centers are equipped with digital x-ray and on-site lab capabilities. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and snacks and beverages, children’s activities and in-room cable TV.

Walk-ins are welcome and same-day appointments are available at most centers. Patients covered by most commercial and public insurance plans can be seen at any Partners Urgent Care location. All Partners Urgent Care locations are open to everyone and it is not necessary to be an existing patient of Partners HealthCare.
