Olathe Health Physicians Inc. has completed work on its Hedge Lane Clinic in Olathe, Kan.

The 9,400-square-foot, $2.2 million design-build project, designed by Hoefer Wysocki, is a reusable prototype of a single-story, outpatient medical office building. The floor plan was created in pods that can be replicated should the clinic need to expand.

According to Jim Sterman, AIA, NCARB, principal-in-charge at the design firm, the Hedge Lane Clinic has radiology, X-ray, and lab capabilities with primary care and family medicine physicians and nurses to provide diagnostic and treatment services.

Patient rooms were placed between the reception area and healthcare team offices to minimize medical personnel and patient walking distances. Exterior signage complements the interior color palette including carpet colors, accent walls, and furniture selections.

Additional consulting partners included Payne and Brockway (civil engineer); Smith and Boucher (MEP engineer); Bob D. Campbell (structural engineer), and Land 3 Studios (landscape architect).
