Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announced that Kenneth Byrd, AIA, and Mark Henderson, AIA, have been hired to support architecture initiatives in the firm’s Houston, Texas, office.

Byrd joins Dewberry as a senior project manager, with more than three decades of experience in coordinating the design and construction of commercial and institutional facilities. With a specialty in healthcare, he has worked with local healthcare facilities including the University of Texas MD Anderson and the Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.

In his new role as principal, Henderson is responsible for business development in the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area. He has more than 32 years of experience managing and designing national and international healthcare projects. His experience includes being at the forefront of successful project delivery for design-build, innovative planning, and patient-experience mapping for many facilities including the University of Texas MD Anderson and the Harris Health System.
