Gilbane Building Company announced that it has opened a new office in downtown Tampa, Fla. The Tampa office will be led by vice president Tim Hensey who heads up Gilbane’s Southwest area of Florida. This serves as the seventh office for Gilbane in Florida which joins offices in Sarasota, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Orlando, Gainesville and Jupiter.

The new office will foster additional opportunity for growth markets such as higher education, healthcare, corporate office and hospitality. Among the firm’s current projects is the HCC New Allied Health Academic Building. Gilbane has a history of more than 45 years in Florida, and notable healthcare projects include Orlando Health System and Baptist Health South Proton Therapy Facility.
