Mohammed Haq has been named a vice president in the Seattle office of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, an engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Haq will head the mechanical engineering group for the Seattle buildings practice. He has more than 18 years of experience providing mechanical design services for new and renovated facilities, including design of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical piping systems for hospitals. Prior to joining WSP, he was an associate principal with a Seattle consulting firm.

A licensed professional engineer in Washington, Oregon and Texas, Haq is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; Council of Educational Facility Planners International; Association for Computer Operations Management; and Design Build Institute of America (DBIA).  He is currently the vice president for the I2S International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories Emerald City Chapter.
