Have you recently completed the renovation of Nurses’ Stations or Family Spaces within a healthcare facility? If so, this competition is for you!
The 2013 Remodel/Renovation competition is open to ALL readers, including architects, interior designers, and facilities wishing to highlight their latest projects. Submissions will be accepted under two categories:
Nurses’ Stations
Family Spaces – includes waiting areas, consultation rooms, patient room family zones, respite areas, showers/overnight accommodations, education spaces, and caregiver support areas. Participants in this category will be asked to provide details on how this space was renovated specifically for use by families to accommodate their needs while in their facility.
A jury of experts (appointed by the Center for Health Design) will review and evaluate all submissions and narrow the projects down to the Top 3 in each category. Projects will then be posted online at www.hcdmagazine.com/renovate for reader voting and comments. The projects with the most reader votes in each category will be named Best in Category and will be published, along with the two runners-up, in our December 2013 issue of Healthcare Design.

Entry Fee: $100 per Submission
Awards will be presented at the 2013 Healthcare Design Conference.
