HEALTHCARE DESIGN Grows with Merger of Healthcare Building Ideas
I’m happy to share a transition taking place here at HEALTHCARE DESIGN and Healthcare Building Ideas.
In response to feedback we’ve heard from our readers, we’re making an exciting move to bring the construction, engineering, and facility management content of Healthcare Building Ideas (HBI) under the umbrella of sister magazine HEALTHCARE DESIGN (HCD), creating a more robust brand that delivers all of the targeted industry content you need—all in one place.
Combining the two brands will allow us to better serve our audience, from builders to architects to designers to facility managers who focus their daily lives on creating and maintaining high-quality healthcare environments.
This transition has resulted in the growth of HEALTHCARE DESIGN’s reach, both online and in print.
All of the Healthcare Building Ideas content has been moved to the HEALTHCARE DESIGN website, www.healthcaredesignmagazine.com. Through this transition, you will find that HCD has added content sections to the site for “Construction” and “Engineering.” Also, the former “Facility Manager” section is now “Operations,” to encompass the full spectrum of issues facing those who work within healthcare facilities.
While all of the HBI content is readily available on the main HEALTHCARE DESIGN site, readers may also access this specific content directly by visiting www.healthcaredesignmagazine.com/building-ideas/healthcare-building-ideas.
This merger will also put both print magazines in your hands at the same time.
Beginning with the June 2012 issue of HEALTHCARE DESIGN, Healthcare Building Ideas will appear as a quarterly special section of HCD. The Summer 2012 issue of HBI will appear within the August issue of HCD, and the Fall 2012 issue of HBI will appear within the October issue of HCD.
We trust that this move will better serve the needs of our readers by providing a single access point to all of the information necessary to thrive in the healthcare design and construction industry. But we certainly want to hear feedback along the way!
