After a successful launch last year, Nurture by Steelcase, HEALTHCARE DESIGN, and The Center for Health Design are proud to announce the 2012 Nurture Collegiate Healthcare Design Competition. This unique opportunity for students to participate in a conceptual healthcare design competition designed to engage future healthcare architects and designers to use an evidence-based design process in their work.

The competition is open to design students at any level in their college or university careers. Upper level and graduate students are encouraged to compete. The winning entrant will receive an awards package which includes:

The theme for this year’s competition is “Supporting Mobile Work in Healthcare.”

It was a true pleasure to meet last year's winning design team from the University of Kansas at HEALTHCARE DESIGN.11 (you can review their winning entry by clicking here), and I look forward to seeing more great entries from the up-and-coming healthcare designers soon to join the field.
