Microbial-resistant fabric protection


INCASE has introduced fabric protection powered by Crypton, a stain-, odor-, and microbial-resistant treatment that works for cubical curtains, top of bed, task seating, and just about anywhere that a moisture barrier isn’t necessary. It’s not only a certified green product but also protects designs from stains, odors, and germs.

High-velocity air hand dryer


Powered by the Dyson digital motor, two high-velocity sheets of air work like a windshield wiper to scrape water from hands. Dyson’s technology not only dries hands in 12 seconds, it is the only hand dryer to use a HEPA filter, cleaning the air before touching your hands. During a trial period in public bathroom areas, the Dyson Airblade hand dryer received immediate positive feedback. Significant “control of infection” advantages were identified over traditional hot air hand dryers and paper towels. Hospital staff also noticed that toilets weren’t becoming blocked with paper towels, making the washroom safer and more hygienic.

Decorative panels


Móz Designs introduces Móz Tides, decorative aluminum panels ready to install in public areas, such as corporate centers, resorts, restaurants, lounges, and clubs. The Móz Tides “kit in a box” features hand-etched and single-curved rolled 16-gauge aluminum panels (.063” thick), along with mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions. No special tools are required. Kits contain both concave and convex panels to create a floating effect, rising approximately 3 7/8″ off the wall. Panels can be mounted horizontally or vertically, are available in 4-foot and 5-foot lengths and can accommodate any wall size or scale. Wayfinding signage


Star Signs has completed a new signage and wayfinding project for the University of Kansas Medical Center’s new Cancer Center in Kansas City, Kansas. The University of Kansas Cancer Center is one of Kansas City area’s primary facilities in the development of the area as a national biosciences hub. Star Signs fabricated and installed multiple signage pieces for the facility including outdoor entry signage, parking garage signage, internal wayfinding signage, and a donor board. Star Signs is currently working on additional projects for Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, and Atchison Hospital in Atchison, Kansas.

Waterfall panels


Harmonic Environments’ Harmonic Cascade can be crafted to any dimension in a single, seamless panel. Water flows through a translucent steel framework, producing an effect of luminous water suspended in air.
