As part of the increasing need to provide high-quality care to residents in Central Wisconsin's Fox Valley, Miron Construction commissioned Flad & Associates to design a new ambulatory surgery center and clinic. The new 50,000-sq.-ft. facility brings together three orthopedic physician groups and features an ambulatory surgery suite with four operating rooms, an outpatient clinic with radiographic rooms, and an adjacent MRI diagnostic imaging suite. Space was also developed for future rehabilitation and rheumatology services.

The entry sequence acts as an icon for the building with a two-story lobby featuring soaring glass walls opposite one another, bringing in an abundance of natural light. Outpatient clinics are housed on the second level, with public circulation routes and waiting areas leading to the lobby or a wall of exterior windows for outside views. Outpatient rehab services, MRI suite, and surgery departments are located on the ground level.
