“There are other means beyond access control that can provide a stronger security posture for the campus. I do believe that certain areas in a hospital should be “off stage” and secured through accesss control. This should be an integrated system to ensure the technology is providing value beyond just its original intended use.”

“It should be dependent on the location. Certainly incidents can occur anywhere at any time, but it is costly to install high tech equipment. The only area that should always have high tech security is the new born nursery, NICU and Peds.”
