Eco-Intelligent PC Recycled Polyester with Agion from Victor Group features postconsumer recycled polyester with Agion antimicrobial technology extruded into the fiber. Protective backing

Carnegie introduces X-Protect Barrier Backing for its Xorel line of textiles. This protective backing is engineered specifically for Xorel fabrics to protect and prevent stains and other substances from reaching the foam, thereby increasing cushion protection. This protective barrier can be applied to any Xorel fabric approved for upholstery use and meets ASTM resistance to blood and blood-born pathogens penetration. It is cleanable with hospital-grade disinfectant cleaners.

High-performance textile

Wearbest offers a new healthcare textile product with patterns of recycled polyester with Crypton’s moisture barrier and patterns featuring B-D Healthcare-a high-performance fabric. B-D Healthcare performance characteristics are 100% bleach cleanable, 50,000 double rubs, 200 hours of UV featuring a solution-dyed nylon warp, and a ring-spun postconsumer recycled polyester filling.

Headwall System

The Basis headwall system by Hill-Rom is designed to help integrate a headwall into a hospitality-inspired patient room design. Custom fabric walls, partitions, ceilings

Fabric Images introduces healthcare environments designed with textiles. The textiles are easy to change and feature playful patterns, mixed prints, and solids. They are recyclable, reusable, and lightweight. Structures with functional textiles can help control light, noise, bacteria, temperature, and energy distribution.

Stackable side chair

Flurry, a high-density polypropylene stack chair from Encore Seating is suitable for training rooms, meeting areas, auditoriums, convention centers, and more. Flurry offers functional ganging capabilities and can stack up to 25-high for spacesaving convenience. The stackable side chair features a chrome frame finish, recessed opening for cleaning ease, signature cutouts to accommodate airflow, and comes in eight colors.

Workspace casegoods

Broadway + by JSI, a Jasper Group brand, features technology integration with cable access in workspace, kneespace, and storage components and an optional fold down modesty panel for access to building power and data. Earth-friendly fabrics

Burch Fabrics Group Design Studio introduces the All Inclusive collection which focuses on environmental sustainability and is part of the Burch Fabrics Group Earth Friendly Collection. The collection is made from 100% postconsumer recycled polyester coupled with Crypton Green technology. The designs have a minimum of 50,000 double rubs for increased wearability and protection.

High-traffic upholstery

The First Glance collection from Momentum Group features a variety of patterns-Imprint, Masque, Identity, Innuendo-with a mix of designs. These four upholsteries were developed in conjunction with Spradling International and use EikonInk digital technology. This technology allows for clarity in color and highly refined details. PermaBlok3 and SilverGuard finishes make these designs a choice suited for high-traffic commercial environments.

Privacy curtain fabric

Phoenix Textile Corporation introduces the Argent Weave product line featuring the Argent privacy curtains. The curtain includes X-STATIC antimicrobial technology. The fabric is designed to protect curtains from bacteria growth. X-STATIC is an antimicrobial agent containing 99.9% pure elemental silver.

Healthcare lounge seating

Nienkämper’s LINQ seating system for healthcare settings consists of three modules-a seat with a back, a seat without a back, and an arm that may be combined with either type of seat. Any or all of these elements can be strung together to form concave, convex, or sinuous alignment. LINQ can also form complete circles, as well as straight lines.

Personalized workspace furniture

Renegade from National Office Furniture can transition from private office to open plan, or teaming to mobile workforces. This laminate casegood series offers mix and match surfaces and chassis options, layered surfaces, and tiered storage. Renegade is certified SCS Indoor Advantage and level 2 which can contribute to LEED points. It offers fully assembled and shell-based components.

Tandem seating

Restore, Jofco’s introductory healthcare seating line offers seating for public waiting areas and patient room applications. Restore is offered as a standard guest chair or bariatric, with coordinating tables, benches, and tandem configurations. Restore features steel structure, removable back and seat cushions, and a moisture-resistant barrier. Seat and back covers are field replaceable, and all guest and bariatric chairs have a clean out space at the back of the seat. A wallsaver leg design is incorporated to prevent wear and damage by keeping the chair away from the wall.

Jazz inspired fabric

Designed by Jane Wicks for cf stinson, this collection’s fabric includes Agion bi-component (silver/copper) active antimicrobial “built in” to the bleach solution cleanable, eco-intelligent postconsumer recycled polyester fiber.

Seating collection

Nurture’s Tava by Steelcase offers a collection of seating with a line that includes: guest chairs, lounge seating, benches, tables, and complimentary casegood products designed for healthcare environments. Tava promotes soothing atmospheres and brings hospitality elements into healthcare spaces to help reduce stress.

Nesting tables

Trius bases from Spec Furniture provide a variety of finishes and a wide array of table choices. Set-up, reconfiguring, nesting, and folding are simplified. The Flip6 ultra thin flip top mechanism allows for a tighter nesting arrangement. Spec tables are manufactured with a Nu-Green FSC certified core that meets CARB standards and helps achieve LEED credits.

Textile collection

Paul Brayton Designs adds Willowbrook and Savoy to its Horizons Collection. The fabrics are 100% polyester, and 51,000 Double Rub construction. Both are finished with Greenshield and an enviro-friendly backing and are completely recyclable. Willowbrook and Savoy are designed for heavy-duty upholstery applications in a variety of installations, including healthcare. All Paul Brayton Design Textiles are made in the USA.

Nanotechnology fabrics

Silver State Inc., introduces Textures, the Nano-tex collection presented by SilverState fabrics. Nano-tex has a high-performance finish with nanotechnology that builds spill and stain protection into the fiber structure of any fabric. Nano-tex fabrics are durable, breathable, and cleanable fabrics. The Nano-tex finish is recyclable and holds MBDC environmental certification.

Woven fabrics

Mayer Fabrics’ “Another Day in Paradise” Collection features five Crypton Green patterns-Paradise, Solaris, Swank, Tangram, and Whimsy-which are included in the collection. Crypton Green fabrics pass emissions testing from Scientific Certification Systems. They have reduced or eliminated formaldehyde, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). They also adhere or contribute to industry standards including LEED-CI, the Collaborative for High Performance Schools’ section 01350, and the Green Guide for Health Care.
