Healthcare Design is pleased to announce our 15th annual Remodel/Renovation Competition!
Healthcare Design invites participants to submit projects that capture the renovation of Single Spaces.
This may be any space within a larger healthcare facility/campus or a standalone facility dedicated to one specialty or service line. Examples of qualifying settings would be a patient unit, clinic, department, specialty care center, lobby/entry space, dining or other public area, etc. Projects that do not qualify are entire hospitals or buildings housing multiple clinics or departments. (In that case, one portion of the renovation must be chosen and submitted).
A panel of experts will review all submissions and determine our Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners. The winners will be featured in the November/December 2024 issue of Healthcare Design magazine and receive special recognition at our annual Healthcare Design Conference + Expo (October 5-8, Indianapolis).
All submitted projects will be published in a Remodel/Renovation Gallery (November/December 2024 issue) with a quarter-page project description and photos*, allowing readers an opportunity to view all of the competition entries. Award-winning projects will be upgraded to a spread or full page.
Participants will be required to prepare presentations using a supplied PowerPoint template. Presentations will include before and after photos of the space, along with details about the renovation (why the renovation was done; project objectives and how they were achieved; how family, patients, and/or staff were involved in the process; and any challenges that occurred along the way).
NOTE: Projects must be completed between June 2021 and the time of submission. We will also accept projects in progress and unbuilt/conceptual designs.
Entry Fee with quarter-page feature: $770
*Quarter-page includes one before/after image; project name, 50 words of text, and firm contact information.
