Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, healthcare environments have been tested and many lessons on how they performed have emerged. To help disseminate what we know so far, Healthcare Design magazine and HCD Expo & Conference are launching a webinar series focused on delivering the information industry members need to design safe, effective, and resilient healthcare spaces going forward.

In this COVID-19 Lessons Learned series, you’ll hear from numerous industry experts on the solutions they’ve explored, what they’ve learned, and how they expect healthcare design to change for good.

The first installment in the series is “COVID-19 Lessons Learned: Advocate Aurora Health Response and Reactivation,” to be held at noon EDT Tuesday, June 9, featuring a panel from Advocate Aurora Health.

Speakers are: Victoria Navarro, MBA-HCM, regional director, planning, design and construction, Advocate Aurora Health; Linnea Rehnke, system manager capital projects, planning, design and construction, Advocate Aurora Health; and Nancy Boldt, system manager furnishings, planning, design and construction, Advocate Aurora Health.

The panel will share what measures were identified to adapt spaces for the COVID-19 crisis and what they learned to be better equipped in the future, as well as how the organization is working to reactivate spaces with an eye on enhanced safety standards.

The webinar is free and approved for 1 AIA HSW credit. For more information and to register, go here. Watch HCDmagazine.com for future webinars in this series.
