South Coast Improvement Company (SCI), a design-build general contractor serving New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, was recently awarded a new construction/renovation project at Five Star Premiere Residences of Teaneck, Teaneck, N.J. The Marion, Mass.-based company will begin work on the project in January 2020.

Five Star Premier Residences of Teaneck consists of two five-story towers connected by a one-story center building. The project is a redevelopment of the existing 88,000 square feet of occupied space and will include new ceilings, floors, millwork, and new work in residence rooms.

The Five Star Residences project will consist of phased construction and will remain occupied during the duration of the project. Project completion is anticipated in early 2021.

The project architect is Perkins Eastman of Chicago. The project engineer is the Princeton Engineering Group of Princeton, N.J. Harrison Hamnett of Pennington, N.J., is an additional engineer.
