Main Line Health, in collaboration with Axia Women’s Health, has broken ground on a new Women’s Specialty Center in King of Prussia, Pa. The project, slated to open in fall 2019, will include a seven-story health center and a four-story parking garage.

The $32 million, 94,000-square-foot facility will offer services such as breast health, digestive health, heart and vascular care, infertility services, integrative medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, rheumatology and autoimmune treatment, skin care, emotional wellness, and more.

Also located within the new facility, Main Line Health will operate an ambulatory care center that will bring health and wellness services to women and men, including primary care, cardiology and cardiac testing, endocrinology, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, imaging, physical therapy, and lab services. In addition, nutrition services, a demo kitchen, and a medical retail space will be offered.

The project team includes IMC Construction (contractor); Nelson Architects (architects); Perkins Eastman Black (design consultant); Anchor Health Properties (development manager); Bohler Engineering (site/civil engineer); Pisarek Engineering (MEP engineer); O’Donnell & Naccarato (structural engineer); Glackin Thomas Panzak (landscape architect); Remington & Vernick Engineers; Siemens; and Saul Ewing.
