MarinHealth held a virtual ribbon cutting to commemorate the opening of its $535 million replacement hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., according to an article in North Bay Business Journal.

The new 260,000-square-foot Oak Pavilion at MarinHealth Medical Center features 114 private rooms, improved facilities for emergency and trauma services, new radiology and imaging services, and a new maternity department.

Additional design elements include floor-to-ceiling windows in patient rooms to offers views of nature, nine gardens, and a three-story terrace garden, which can be accessed from patient and visitor waiting areas.

The first patients are expected to be move into the pavilion in September.
