Hammes (Brookfield, Wisc.), a developer for healthcare facilities, recently announced it was selected as the project manager to lead the construction of OhioHealth’s new 270,000-square-foot administrative office project. The facility will be home for approximately 1,600 non-clinical OhioHealth associates on 13 acres, across the street from OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The new campus is expected to open in 2019.

Hammes will serve as the owner’s representative for the construction of the new facility, and will work collaboratively with OhioHealth’s staff and design and construction team.

OhioHealth’s clinical services have grown over the years requiring expansions at several medical facilities, and Hammes has worked with OhioHealth on a number of expansion projects.  For example, Riverside Methodist Hospital, part of OhioHealth, selected Hammes Company to provide project management for a bed tower addition on their existing 43-acre campus.
