DIGroupArchitecture, LLC, an architecture, interior design and graphic design firm located in New Brunswick, N.J., recently announced the addition of Kurt Baur, AIA, ACHA to its team.

Baur, who joins as principal of DIG’s Healthcare Studio, has more than 39 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of healthcare facilities. His portfolio encompasses design and construction of new and renovated facilities for academic medical centers, regional and community hospitals and private physician practices. In his home state of New Jersey he has overseen work for RWJBarnabas Health, Jersey City Medical Center, University Medical Center of Princeton, Atlantic Health Systems, CarePoint Health and Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. Throughout the region his portfolio includes the Mount Sinai Health System, Nassau University Medical Center, University of Connecticut Health Center, Yale New Haven Medical Center, the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and St. Luke’s University Health Network.

Baur is a Board Certified Healthcare Architect and a founding member of the American College of Healthcare Architects.  Additionally, he is a member of the Academy of Healthcare Architecture, American Society of Healthcare Engineers and the Healthcare Facilities Management Society of New Jersey.
