Alvaro Rizo-Patron has recently joined Hammes, a provider of healthcare building strategies, as the new regional vice president for the company’s growing Texas market.

Rizo-Patron has been involved in many San Antonio capital projects, including the University Health System Robert B. Green Clinic. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience with building and infrastructure projects, including many in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining Hammes, Rizo-Patron served in several leadership positions at Jacobs and Parsons. He also worked at the Southwest Institute in various positions, including principal research engineer for the Robotics & Automation Department.

Hammes recently opened an office in San Antonio, adding to its existing offices in Houston and Dallas, and plans to invest in new real estate developments and capital acquisitions over the next few years.
