Aurora Health Center 84South, Advocate Aurora Health’s new 150,000-square-foot outpatient center, is located in the rapidly expanding suburb of Greenfield, Wis. Part of 84South, a prominent mixed-use development in the metro area, the project opened in August 2019 and creates a multidisciplinary specialty hub, consolidates outpatient facilities, and offers improved access and convenience for patients.

Advocate Aurora’s brand emphasizes calm, soothing environments that promote health and well-being.  Additionally, the development required an urban, multistory solution with a 409-stall connected parking facility, with intuitive wayfinding that prioritizes easy access for patients.

The design solution by HGA features a retail-inspired main entry with orthopedic exam and imaging services collocated on the first floor. Surgical, recovery, and pain management services are housed on the floors above, with a destination Sports Health Center on the top floor where orthopedic patients rehab with healthy athletes in a high-energy environment that promotes vitality and motivates a return to wellness.
