Greenberg Cosmetic Surgery had outgrown its office space in Woodbury, N.Y. and was looking for a larger office setting to meet growing patient demand for its state-of-the-art procedures, from body contouring to Botox, face lifts, and full body lifts. Owner Dr. Stephen Greenberg also wanted a setting that maximized comfort and pampered patients while they waited for their treatments.

Working with interior design firm Baltimore Design Group (Port Washington, N.Y.), the project team created a setting that takes its inspiration from an upscale salon and spa aesthetic. The 7,064-square-foot facility in Woodbury, N.Y., which opened in 2017, contains a reception area, office space, two operating rooms, four treatment rooms, an injection room, and a medical spa (a hybrid between a medical clinic and a day spa) with separate reception area—all of which are infused with the practice’s hot pink and cobalt blue brand colors.

Treatment rooms are named after an identifying graphic on the wall, such as “Aspen” (with an image of Aspen trees in vivid colors superimposed on a woman’s body) and “Paris” (represented by an image of the Eiffel Tower), and infused with contrasting black-and-white accents, sparkling chandeliers, and vibrantly patterned furniture and rugs. Even the custom furnishings, designed by Baltimore Design, are unconventional, with configurations designed to resemble the shape of the female body.
