High-performance carpet tile
No Rules from Shaw Contract is a high-performance collection of carpet tile designed to install in any configuration. The collection offers three new patterns with unique color overlay patterning and gradations. The installation configuration changes the depth and color blending of each pattern. No Rules products use EcoWorx tile backing, which contains 40% recycled content, is completely recyclable, and Cradle to Cradle Silver Certified.
Mobile folding table
BioFit introduces the Afton, an alternative to traditional tables. The S-shaped Afton mobile folding table was created to give designers and facilities planners a different option from conventionally shaped tables for cafeterias, food courts, and more. The Afton carries a 13-year warranty.
Interactive wayfinding system
The new Squire Interactive Wayfinding system from Cooper Signage provides personalized turn-by-turn directions with personalized printable maps and floor plans. The wayfinding system can be downloaded to smart phones and works to expand existing wayfinding/sign systems.
Flooring installation system
The nora pro install system is a five-step system that provides key installation components for nora rubber flooring. Critical flooring installation parts are offered together in one system. From nora membrane to nora adhesive, there is access to all essential flooring installation components, including a 10-year system warranty, complete with product data and installation guides. nora pro install system is for internal use only in high-traffic environments, including hospitals.
Health Zone Ultima, a new ceiling from Armstrong, provides both acoustical performance and washability. The new ceiling panel features a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.70 for sound control and a smooth, soil-resistant surface that can be cleaned with disinfectants for infection control.
Sealed glass system
Unicel Architectural's Vision Control is now available with Pilkington Pyrostop glazing from Technical Glass Products for doors, windows, transoms, and sidelights. The UL Classified Vision Control/Pyrostop solution meets demand for fire-rated louvered systems in healthcare environments. The system provides HIPAA-compliant privacy control and hygiene with UL-approved fire-resistant glazing.
Redesigned seat pan
Spec has redesigned the seat pan of their standard size Snowball chairs using 100% recycled plastic. The new design is made to be more durable than wood seat pans and has environmental benefits. The change in design is a result of Spec's overall goal of reducing its carbon footprint and achieving BIFMA-level certification.
