Baylor Scott & White Health recently celebrated the grand opening of its new medical and sports performance facility in Dallas as part of a collaboration between the healthcare system, an National Football League team, and a school district.

The 300,000-square-foot Sports Therapy & Research Complex, located at The Star in Frisco, home of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, offers ‘one-stop-shop’ services for sports medicine and rehabilitation, as well as sports nutrition, sports psychology, orthopedics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, neuropsychology, urgent care, surgery, a brain injury program, cardiology, outpatient imaging, and a pharmacy.

The complex includes basketball courts, a fitness and strength training room, an indoor/outdoor playing field, and a is a network of  outoor publicly accessible walk, run, and bike trails.

Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research was designed by Perkins+Will. Initial construction began in summer 2016. CBRE provided project management services, and MEDCO Construction served as the construction general contractor for this project.
