Architecture and design firm Perkins Eastman, which has 15 offices around the world, is growing its healthcare expertise with the addition of Jason Harper, a healthcare facility design veteran. Harper has joined the leadership in New York City.

Harper AIA, LEED AP, a Perkins Eastman principal, has honed his skills in healthcare facility design throughout his 30-year career. Harper has managed the design of large-scale projects, including the Sheik Zayed Tower and Bloomberg Children’s Center projects at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also was the principal planner for 10 million square feet at the Başakşehir Integrated Health Campus in Istanbul, Turkey.

Harper is co-chair of the AIA NY Health Facilities Committee. After Hurricane Sandy, he led efforts to increase the resiliency of NYC’s hospitals and healthcare facilities. Harper frequently speaks about health district planning and healthcare facility design at conferences and authors articles on these subjects for various publications.
