Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has wrapped up a $27.5 million renovation and expansion project.

The multiphased project, which began in 2015, renovated inpatient and outpatient areas in various pediatric units across the hospital, including the addition of 30 new private rooms in the neonatal intensive care unit

A total of 12 beds were added in the pediatric intensive care unit, 20 in the pediatric step-down units, and 12 in the oncology and hematology departments.

Skanska USA led the hospital renovation and expansion project.
