UBMD Physicians’ Group, the largest medical group in Western New York, has announced that three of its practices have begun seeing patients in a new location in the Conventus building on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

UBMD Neurology and UBMD Obstetrics-Gynecology began seeing patients at the new location on March 20. And eight divisions of UBMD Pediatrics moved today, including allergy/immunology, diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology, genetics, infectious diseases, nephrology and pulmonology.

UBMD Neurology’s new office location at Conventus replaces its location at Buffalo General Medical Center. The new space has 14 exam rooms, a 12-bay infusion suite, and separate waiting rooms for its adult and pediatric patients.

At its new location, which is in addition to its three other locations throughout Western New York, UBMD Obstetrics-Gynecology will see patients ranging from pre-pubescent women to post-menopausal women, including those who need general obstetrics-gynecology care and adolescent care, family planning services, and treatment for vulvar disorders. Additionally, the practice will see patients for urogynecologic care in association with the Buffalo Niagara Center for Pelvic Health, a collaboration between UBMD Obstetrics-Gynecology and UBMD Urology.

UBMD Obstetrics-Gynecology is also moving its administrative offices from Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo to the fifth floor of the Conventus building in advance of Kaleida Health’s opening of the new John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital.

Nine other UBMD Physicians’ Group practices—Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Pathology, Psychiatry, Surgery, and Urology—will soon open offices in the Conventus building.
