PHOTO TOUR: CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital
The 68,000-square-foot facility features advanced technology and equipment. Every part of the hospital was designed with the patient in mind.
The day rooms encourage patients to get out of their rooms and socialize with family and friends when they visit.
The Acquired Brain Injury Unit has a private dining room with abundant daylighting and a view of Mt. Rainier.
The hallways are wide and have alcoves built in to keep them free from equipment. There are also built-in linen closets for each room.
The 300-square-foot patient rooms are all private and have space to accommodate equipment needs. Each patient room has a spacious private bathroom.
The 3,500-square-foot therapy gym features equipment designed specifically for rehabilitation, including a smart car to practice transfers. The bright open space is a healing environment and looks out over the therapy courtyard complete with putting green and driving range.
The functional, transitional kitchen offers patients a chance to practice activities of daily living to return home successfully.
