Healthcare Design has announced the winners of the 11th annual Remodel/Renovation Competition

A total of 44 submissions were received for the category of single space renovation. This year’s winners are:

  • Gold Winner: NYU Dentistry Oral Health Center for People with Disabilities
    Submitted by: HDR
  • Silver Winner: Sinai Health System: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
    Submitted by: Perkins Eastman
  • Bronze Winner: The University of Kansas Health System, Strawberry Hill Behavioral Health Hospital
    Submitted by: CannonDesign

The winning projects will be featured in the December issue of Healthcare Design magazine, along with a Remodel/Renovation Gallery of all the competition entries.

Sixteen jurors, appointed by The Center for Health Design, reviewed, scored, and commented on projects. They included:
