Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville has begun construction on its new Tennova ER – Sango, located in Clarksville, Tenn. The freestanding emergency department will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to serve patients who experience medical emergencies.

The 11,680-square-foot freestanding emergency department will have eight private patient rooms with radiology and lab services on-site. If a higher level of care is required, patients can be transported quickly to the main campus or the facility of their choice.

This winter, Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville also began renovations at its main campus ER designed to decrease the time it takes for patients to see a provider and improve behavioral health emergency services. The hospital also signed a non-binding letter of intent to donate more than three acres to Montgomery County Government for the purpose of building a new EMS base and training facility next to the hospital.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
